Terms & Conditions

By enrolling in any programme, using the certificate verification portal at certificate.jsdevbrains.com, or interacting with any service offered by JSDEVBRAINS Digital Private Limited, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JSDEVBRAINS Digital Private Limited under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

DEVBRAINS Digital Private Limited, operating as DevBrains, provides the following services:

• IT training and skill development programmes (online and offline)
• Internship and industry-experience programmes
• Issuance of digitally verifiable certificates to programme graduates
• Public certificate verification portal
• Career support, placement assistance, and mentorship
• Document issuance: experience letters, internship letters, offer letters, relieving letters

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice.

3.1 Eligibility

Our programmes are open to individuals who are:

• 16 years of age or older (individuals under 18 require parental/guardian consent)
• Interested in IT skills development, software training, or career advancement

3.2 Enrolment Process

Enrolment is confirmed only upon:

• Submission of required personal details (name, contact information, educational background)
• Payment of the applicable enrolment or programme fee
• Receipt of a confirmation from DEVBRAINS via email or WhatsApp

3.3 Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information at the time of enrolment. DEVBRAINS shall not be liable for errors in certificates or documents arising from incorrect information provided by you. Corrections requested after certificate issuance may attract an administrative fee.

4.1 Fee Structure

Programme fees are communicated at the time of enquiry or enrolment. Fees are denominated in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified. For international students, fees may be denominated in the applicable foreign currency.

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept payments via Cash, UPI, Bank Transfer, and Cheque. All payments must be made to the designated DEVBRAINS bank account.

4.3 Instalment Plans

Instalment payment arrangements may be offered at our discretion. Failure to pay instalments on time may result in suspension of access to programme materials and withholding of certificates until the full fee is cleared.

4.4 Certificate Issuance Condition

Official certificates and experience letters are issued only upon full settlement of all programme fees. Partial payment does not entitle you to a certificate.

5.1 Cancellation Before Programme Start

• Cancellation more than 7 days before the programme start date: Full refund minus a 10% administrative charge
• Cancellation within 7 days of programme start date: 50% refund
• Cancellation on or after the programme start date: No refund

5.2 Mid-Programme Withdrawal

No refunds are available for fees paid once the programme has commenced, regardless of the reason for withdrawal.

5.3 Programme Cancellation by DEVBRAINS

If DEVBRAINS cancels a programme before it begins, enrolled students will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another available programme.

5.4 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 working days to the original payment method or a designated bank account.

6.1 Issuance Criteria

Certificates are issued to students who have:

• Completed the full programme duration
• Met the minimum attendance and performance requirements set by DEVBRAINS
• Cleared all outstanding fee dues

6.2 Certificate Authenticity

All DevBrains certificates are assigned a unique Certificate ID and are verifiable at certificate.jsdevbrains.com. Each certificate is backed by a W3C-standard Verifiable Credential stored on our platform.

6.3 Misuse of Certificates

Certificates are issued for the named individual only and are non-transferable. Any attempt to alter, forge, or misrepresent a DevBrains certificate is a criminal offence under the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act 2000. DEVBRAINS reserves the right to report such misuse to appropriate authorities.

6.4 Revocation

DEVBRAINS reserves the right to revoke a certificate if it was issued based on fraudulent information or if the student is found to have engaged in academic misconduct.

Students enrolled in DevBrains programmes are expected to:

• Attend sessions regularly and maintain the minimum attendance required for certification
• Complete assignments, projects, and assessments honestly and independently
• Treat trainers, staff, and fellow students with respect
• Not engage in plagiarism, cheating, or academic dishonesty
• Not share programme materials, recordings, or course content with non-enrolled individuals
• Comply with all rules communicated during the programme induction

Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in suspension, expulsion from the programme, withholding of the certificate, or legal action, without refund of fees paid.

By enrolling and providing your contact details, you expressly consent to receiving communications from DEVBRAINS via:

• Email — programme updates, payment receipts, certificates, notifications
• WhatsApp — automated and manual messages via the Meta WhatsApp Business API, including programme updates, payment confirmations, birthday greetings, and placement notifications
• SMS — critical alerts (if applicable)

You may opt out of non-essential communications by contacting us. Opting out of promotional communications does not affect transactional or service-critical messages.

All course materials, training content, presentations, videos, worksheets, platform code, templates, and branding (collectively "Content") are the exclusive property of JSDEVBRAINS Digital Private Limited and are protected under the Copyright Act 1957.

• Students are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Content for personal learning during the programme
• Reproduction, redistribution, resale, or public sharing of any Content without prior written consent is strictly prohibited
• Course completion projects developed by students remain the student's intellectual property, unless otherwise agreed in writing

The public certificate verification portal at certificate.jsdevbrains.com is provided as a free, public service.

10.1 Permitted Use

• Verifying the authenticity of a DevBrains certificate by entering its Certificate ID
• Viewing publicly available certificate details of an enrolled student

10.2 Prohibited Use

• Automated scraping, bulk data collection, or crawling of the portal
• Attempting to access, modify, or disrupt the underlying database or systems
• Using certificate data for any purpose other than verification

Violation of these restrictions may result in legal action under the Information Technology Act 2000.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DEVBRAINS's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific programme in connection with which the claim arises.

DEVBRAINS shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of employment, income, or career opportunities
• Technical failures, service interruptions, or data loss outside our reasonable control
• Actions of third-party service providers (messaging platforms, email services, cloud infrastructure, etc.)

Our services, portal, and certificates are provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

DEVBRAINS does not guarantee:

• Employment or specific career outcomes upon programme completion
• That the portal will be available uninterrupted or error-free at all times
• That certificates will be accepted by any particular employer or institution

DEVBRAINS may terminate or suspend your access to programmes or the portal at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms & Conditions or the Code of Conduct
• Non-payment of fees
• Providing false or misleading information
• Any conduct that DEVBRAINS reasonably believes to be harmful to other students, staff, or the organisation

Upon termination for cause, no refund shall be due. Upon termination without cause by DEVBRAINS, a pro-rated refund will be provided.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.

14.1 Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through good-faith negotiation within 30 days of written notice of the dispute.

14.2 Jurisdiction

If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India.

DEVBRAINS reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. For material changes, we will notify enrolled students by email or WhatsApp. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
