Yes, registration is completely free. After your idea is reviewed and approved by the DevBrains evaluation panel, a one-time participation and evaluation fee (from ₹399, based on your category) is charged. This covers the expert review, personalised written feedback, and your verified digital certificate.

What happens after I register?

After registration, the DevBrains Review Team evaluates your submitted project idea within a few working days. If approved, you receive an email with the payment link and full project development guidelines including GitHub setup. You then build and submit your project before the deadline.

What kind of projects can I submit?

You can submit projects in Web Development, Mobile App Development, AI & Machine Learning, IoT & Hardware, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Game Development, and Open Innovation. The project must be your original work with a minimum 50-word idea description.

Do I get a certificate even if I do not win an award?

Yes. All approved participants who successfully build and submit their project receive a verified Innovation Participation Certificate issued by JSDEVBRAINS Digital Private Limited. Award certificates are issued additionally to category winners and special recognition recipients. Certificates are publicly verifiable online.

Is the DevBrains Innovation Awards certificate valid and recognised?

Can I use AI tools to build my project?

Yes, AI tools may assist in development. However, you must understand your project and be able to explain it during evaluation. Projects that are entirely AI-generated without participant understanding or original contribution may be disqualified.
